Built on technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and the blockchain, the metaverse is a place where people can meet and interact, and where digital assets (land, buildings, items, avatars etc.) can be created, bought, and sold.

What is Allied Bank’s Metaverse Branch?

As a true pioneer in the field of digital banking, Allied Bank has taken the first step into the Metaverse by creating its own “virtual” branch. This branch is created on virtual space and demonstrates a very realistic look & feel through the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology.

Allied Bank’s metaverse branch allows its customers to:

·         Learn about various new products and services in an immersive and eye-catching manner by walking through the branch

·         Open an account through the myPDA portal

·         Conduct Transactions through the myABL portal

·         Contact a customer representative for any query

·         Provide Feedback

How do I access the Metaverse Branch?

The branch is accessible not only through Virtual Reality Headsets (All Meta Quest models) but also through a mobile app and can even be accessed through a web browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. The details for each platform is given below:

Meta Quest VR Headset

Meta Quest VR Headset users will have to follow the steps given below to visit the branch:

·         Download and Install the “Spatial” app from the Meta Store

·         Register on the Spatial app and create your avatar

·         Search “Allied Bank” in the search bar and click the thumbnail to join
